S.E. Hugo Adalberto Velázquez Moreno
Nació en Itacurubi del Rosario, Departamento de San Pedro el 03 de setiembre de 1967.
Tiene 55 años.
Realizó sus estudios secundarios en el Liceo Militar Acosta Ñu, donde obtuvo el grado de Sub Teniente de Reserva de Infantería.
Se graduó de Abogado, Notario y Escribano Público, en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Nacional de Asunción.
Es Máster en Derecho Penal por la Universidad de Salamanca, España.
Su formación académica lo llevó a ocupar varios cargos relevantes.
TRAYECTORIA EN LA FUNCIÓN PÚBLICA:
Asesor Jurídico de la Entidad Binacional ITAIPU.
Fiscal del Crimen.
Fiscal General Adjunto de la Región VI y Región Chaco.
TRAYECTORIA POLÍTICA:
Afiliado a la ANR en 1986.
Presidente del Centro de Estudiantes de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Nacional de Asunción.
Presidente de la Juventud Colorada de la Seccional Número 4, Capital.
Presidente de la Seccional Colorada 350/2. Lambaré.
Elegido Diputado Nacional por el periodo 2008/2013.
Diputado Reelecto en elecciones generales para el periodo 2013/2018.
Presidente de la Honorable Cámara de Diputados desde julio de 2014 a julio de 2017, electo por unanimidad por sus pares.
Miembro titular de la Junta de Gobierno desde el año 2011.
Precandidato a Vicepresidente de la República - Movimiento Colorado Añetete.
